The Demimonde exhibition was held at Amberwood House, close by the V&A. Curated by Slate Projects and Mottahedan Projects, it displayed the works of 31 young artists, some of whom are from Wimbledon College of Art.
The Amberwood House is set to be renovated at the end of January. Its inside is a beautiful collapse of broken walls, large windows and chipped paint. The exterior garden appears to be from a fairy tale. The exhibition had displayed brilliant work, which blended into -and stood out from- the magnificent location which contained it.
What I loved about this piece, was the thick emphasis on the background element. It gives a truly strong impression: you can really feel this fog when you breathe it.
